"It's going well, although I wish I had a real office chair and a decent working table
and a sturdy music rest to keep the book open. 
And perhaps a mouse for my computer. And a couple of dictionaries. 
It would also help my concentration if the house was not full of French workmen, 
yelling and screaming and drilling. But the weather is nice."
